Marigolds


These beautiful golden flowers give a scent that is repellent to mosquitoes. The mosquito escapes with its scent and you can easily call these plants near your front and back door. The best thing about these plants is that you can also grow them in pots. Also, you can put it in two pots around where you keep your cooler. This will keep mosquitoes away.

Utricularia

It is also known as Bladdervert. It is mostly found in clear water. Some of its species are also found in the hilly terrain.  This growth is more during the rains. Its leaves are round balloonlike. As soon as an insect-moth comes close to it the fibers present hold it. The enzyme released in the leaves helps eliminate keto. You can apply it in watery areas of your house.

Chrysanthemum

These flowers can brighten any place and make it come alive. It is one of the best plants to keep mosquitoes away. Lots of dangerous insects like ants, beetles cockroaches, silverfish, bed bugs spider mites and ticks can lay eggs in your house this season. Citronella grass

Pitcher plant

It is also known as Nepinthis. This insectivorous plant is found on the Khasia and Garo hills of Assam. It has a jug shaped shape at the end of its leaves.  This is its noose in which it traps insects and moths. This jug is 1.5 to 8 inches long. It has honey bags on its mouth and side. The insect moths, attracted by the color of the jug, lose their lives in the temptation of honey. Due to the smooth wall, they do not crawl and get out. At the bottom of it there is juice which is digested soon and the walls are absorbed by the digested part. It is also known as Ghatparni.

Basil

The pungent scent of basil is toxic to mosquito larvae. In fact, if you plant it near any hard water body, it will prevent mosquitoes from breeding. It can also keep flies and other insects away. In addition, this plant comes with complete health benefits. To cure cough, you can chew some leaves with honey, which is very common in this season.
